BEA's WebLogic Enterprise Platform is the application server of choice.

The J2EE components of the Matrix FSA and BCF can run in any J2EE 1.2 or higher compliant container. Matrix AS also supports the BEA Tuxedo Framework to support high-performance messaging and high-availability services in a transactional environment.

The principal features of the Application Server layer are the provision of mission critical capabilities and support for open standards (for example, through J2EE, XML standards).

The Matrix BCF Data Model is a unique feature of the AutoDeal+ platform. It provides customers with a well-defined and detailed insight into the business data entities and their relationships. This supports extensive MIS and data integration services.

Like the Matrix AS, the Matrix Database platform provides the underlying persistence layer for AutoDeal+. The Oracle RDBMS, either in a Real Application Cluster or Parallel Server environment, is preferred for this purpose.
