We offer our bank customers the flexibility of specifying enhancements to the product base in order to foster and build long-term customer relationships. The open, extensible product architecture and our systematic development process enable Cognotec to meet customer requirements.

Based on our extensive experience of working with our established customers, we have developed an ISO 9001:2000 audited software development process to successfully define, develop, test and deploy customer requirements and enhancements.

Requirements Definition - The feasibility of the solution is determined, the proposal is scoped, and a prototype installation for familiarisation is supported
Development - Established ISO 9001:2000 TickIT process governing business specification, functional specification, analysis, design through to integration testing
Quality Assurance (QA) - The product is released to our QA team, and to the customer for acceptance testing. We can work with the customer in defining the user acceptance strategy and test plan
Release Deployment - Once the customer has signed off the product user acceptance, the product is available for production installation, and go-live plans are activated.

The first stage assesses the requirements and determines the feasibility of integrating these into the AutoDeal or RealStream services. The potential benefits of the proposed solution are assessed, the costs determined, and estimated. The project is scoped across the four key parameters - functionality, time, cost and quality, and a customer proposal is presented to the bank. To aid requirements, a prototype product may be installed for familiarisation.

All aspects of the project are closely managed by the Cognotec project manager, and the customer is fully informed of progress, and milestone completion.
