The open, extensible product architecture and our systematic development process enable Cognotec to meet customer requirements. Based on our extensive experience of working with our established customers, we have developed an ISO 9001:2000 audited software development process to successfully define, develop, test and deploy customer requirements and enhancements. The process covers the following four stages:
The first stage assesses the requirements and determines the feasibility of integrating these into the AutoDeal or RealStream services. The potential benefits of the proposed solution are assessed, the costs determined, and estimated. The project is scoped across the four key parameters - functionality, time, cost and quality, and a customer proposal is presented to the bank. To aid requirements, a prototype product may be installed for familiarisation. All aspects of the project are closely managed by the Cognotec project manager, and the customer is fully informed of progress, and milestone completion.
