Rate Manager cleanses the rates sourced from the Rates Backbone for errors and abnormalities and then blends them as per predefined requirements to create standard prices. Traders can then manage the Base Rate to gain more trading volumes (Spread) or to take positions (Skew). For added security, the managed rate passes through various Rate Protection algorithms, after which they are then split out into separate Channel pricing streams before being sent back to the rates backbone for distribution.
